Veena Chauhan™ is a study in proportion, precision, and quiet authority. Veena taught herself to sketch in 2011, and in 2012 she designed her first trouser, P20, in tweed. Its waist rose higher at the back to give room when seated and dipped into a gentle V at the front, and for years afterward women asked her to make it again. Her tailoring finds its confidence in restraint. Structure and ease meet without compromise, and the line speaks before any ornament does.

The trouser is the foundation of the silhouette, and every collection starts there, with the same discipline of tailoring. Developing P20 gave Veena four principles that still guide her trouser design: style, design, rise and fit. Rise is among the most challenging of the four, because no two women share precisely the same waist, torso, hip or seat. P20 went on to influence both Mara and Simone. Every piece is designed in limited runs and refined across multiple toiles before it reaches its final form, and the same precision and restraint carry from one season to the next.
